I remember mom and I watching Buttercup while you and Daddy were in DC for some event. She was still pretty little at the time, but when I sang that to her when she started to cry for you, she got this look on her face like, "Of course Mommy's coming back! Of course she wouldn't forget about ME!" and she was mostly okay for the rest of the time - until you arrived in the wee hours of the morning. I can still remember coming down and you had her in the seat on the table and I said, "Didn't I tell you - Mommy always comes back?" and she smiled like she knew it all along. It is good for mom to be able to go to the doctor freely. “I a big girl, too!” This seems to be a girl thing...my oldest son didn't do this, but my daughter is doing something similar now.
